Opening hours
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Ticket sales end at 4:00 p.m. (last entry with a ticket at 4:15 p.m.). The museum closes at 5:00 p.m., with galleries closing at 4:45 p.m.
- On 24 and 31 December, the museum closes at 3:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m. (last tickets at 2:00 p.m., galleries close at 2:45 p.m.).
- Closed on Fridays and on 1 January, 1 May, 1 November, 11 November, and 25 December.

Tickets
- Tickets can be purchased at the desk or online, per time slot.
- Print your tickets in advance or keep them ready on a mobile device.
- Present your card at the reception desk on the day of your visit if you ordered a special ticket (reduced or free entry) — for example, museumPASSmusées.
Prices
- €7: Adults (19–64 years)
- €5: 65+, adult groups (min. 15 people), FED+ card holders
- €3: Students with valid student card (18+), people with disabilities and one accompanying person, job seekers and social integration income beneficiaries, Belgian school teachers, City of Brussels guides
- Free: 0–18 years (individuals and groups), Friends of RMAH, members of ICOM-Vlaanderen, ICOM/Wallonie-Bruxelles card holders, Science Policy (Belspo) staff, journalists with valid press card, Brussels Card, museumPASSmusées, Riebedebie, 365.be, European Disability Card holders
- € 30: Annual Pass for the permanent collections of the RMAH (18+)
- Article 27 : €1,25

By Car
- Paid parking is available near the museum.
Low Emission Zone (LEZ)
- The Brussels-Capital Region is a Low Emission Zone (LEZ).
- If travelling by car or van, check lez.brussels to verify whether your vehicle is affected.
- If your vehicle does not comply with LEZ access criteria, you can buy a day pass or use alternative transport options.
- Vehicles registered abroad must be registered online before travelling in the LEZ (registration is free).
Persons with reduce mobility
- A lift is available for visitors with reduced mobility (on request at reception).
- The panoramic view from the Halle Gate wall walk is unfortunately only accessible by stairs.
